I) Can We Talk?
The Johns Hopkins University commissioned the Thesis agency to create a visual aid to help survivors determine when and to whom it might be safe to talk about their experience of domestic violence.
The goal was to steer clear of tropes and set the stage for the gravitas this subject deserved.
Due to the sensitivity of this issue, I took incredible care to ensure that every word evoked safety and security while working on the script and final output with the creative and production teams.
IMPACT REPORT:
Johns Hopkins surveyed 100 women with a chronic condition and recent experience of domestic violence who had not talked to a healthcare provider about the incidents of abuse. After watching the video, they were asked if they would consider talking to a provider about it:
➡ 26% said they would think about it
➡ 28% thought they might be able to if the provider asks
➡ 15% planned to talk to their provider if the provider asks about abuse
➡ 21% planned to discuss with their provider even if the provider did not ask about abuse
➡ 9% were not willing to talk with their provider
In follow-ups with these women a month later, 19% had already talked to their provider about their abuse experience.
This video encouraged survivors to consider whether talking to a trusted healthcare provider might be an option to get better care and resources. Research shows it can improve health and safety, but there are also horror stories of being treated poorly by health systems. Ultimately, every survivor is trusted to make the best decision based on their unique circumstance.

The Ford Motor Company and Susan G. Komen®, commissioned the Women On Set - a Film / TV and Media Collective, for a fresh storytelling perspective for the More Than Pink Walk.
The crew turned their eyes, hearts, and cameras on the topic of breast cancer, by including the perspectives of men.
This video goes to show that if we can find the courage to use our vulnerabilities as a source of strength, we all heal together.

III) Tampico: It's a Colorful Life!
For Tampico, the core pillars center around family, value, and fun.
When they reached out requesting a TV spot showcasing the brand's reformulation, it became essential that the creative strategy connect to the active and fun lifestyle of the value mom and Millennial.
I worked on this concept from ideation to storyboarding, and supported the creative team through the execution.
